Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By using Ridelay (the app or this website) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ridelay.
2. Pre-release software
Ridelay is in active development. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data created during the pre-release period may be reset. We appreciate your patience and bug reports.
3. Ride safely — this comes first
Never operate your phone while riding. Ridelay's ride features are designed to be set up before you roll and glanced at when stopped. You are solely responsible for riding lawfully and safely; no app feature is a substitute for your attention on the road.
4. Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us at support@ridelay.app if you believe your account was compromised. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
5. Your content
You own what you post. You grant Ridelay a license to host and display your content within the service so the app can work. Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that exposes someone else's private information (including their location) without consent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Beacon and location features
Only share Beacon links with people you trust — anyone holding the link can see your live position while it is active. Do not use Ridelay to track any person without their knowledge and consent.
7. Acceptable use
No scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with the service, or attempting to access other users' data. Automated access to our APIs outside the app is not permitted.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Ridelay is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridelay and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including events occurring during rides.
9. Termination
You may stop using Ridelay at any time (see the Privacy Policy for account deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We will update this page when the terms change and adjust the effective date above.
